our prospect park location is a 2 minute walk east of prospect park on flatbush avenue. close to the B/Q/S trains.
we’re also a short walk to the 2/3/4/5 trains. we’re 9 mins from atlantic terminal and 25 mins from union square by train.

our broadway location is steps from the flushing j train at the intersection of williamsburg, bushwick and bedstuy, and 12 minutes from manhattan by train.
every studio is code‑compliant and designed for sound isolation. Walls are decoupled and layered with acoustic dampening materials, floors and ceilings are solid cement, and ceiling heights range from 9.75′ to 12′. Some rooms include masonry walls or windows.

each room is locked behind 3 separate security doors. there are video cameras throughout the building and the studio space, and, most importantly, we don’t work with, give rooms to, or suffer sketchy people. this is our home.
our personal studios are in the same building. we host clients and court industry relationships in our studios. we will only settle for a respectful, safe community.
We take maintenance seriously. You’ll deal directly with staff who know your name, your music, and your room.

No. We’re a 100% smoke‑free facility. That means no smoking, vaping, or incense inside. Smokers are welcome to step outside.
Tape Deck is owned and operated by Alex Picca, a touring and recording musician with over two decades in the industry. He’s also worked as a guitar builder and small business owner — so he knows what artists need from a professional space.
